Yalova University School of Foreign Languages (SFL) held “Beyond SFL - Meet Our Alumni” on 8 October 2026 as part of its Extracurricular Activities (EXCA) programme. The event brought current preparatory students together with SFL alumni to share experiences and support students’ motivation to learn English. Our guests, Esma Yiğitoğlu, Bahar Durgut, and Alihan Durmuş, shared their language-learning experiences and practical tips. Students had the opportunity to meet former SFL students and hear about their learning journeys. The face-to-face meeting created a welcoming space for sharing experiences and reflecting on life beyond the preparatory programme. The event aimed to strengthen connections between current students and alumni while encouraging students to take an active role in their own learning. At the end of the session, the alumni received certificates of appreciation for their contributions. We thank our guests for returning to SFL and sharing their experiences with our students.
