About the English Proficiency Exam on September 25, 2024
Who Can Take the Exam?

Students who have been placed in the English preparatory class required undergraduate programs (Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, International Relations, Economics, and English Business) according to the 2024 YKS results and wish to be exempt from the preparatory class.

All students who failed their English preparatory class training in the 2022-2023 and/or 2023-2024 academic years and wish to pass the preparatory class, including international students admitted through the Foreign Student Exam (YÖS).
NOTE: This exam is not for students wishing to be exempt from Foreign Language I and Foreign Language II (YDB101 and YDB102) courses in the Faculty and Vocational Schools under category 5/i.
Exam Details:
The English Proficiency Exam will be conducted face-to-face on September 25, 2024, at the Foreign Languages School located in the Central Campus of Yalova University.
Exam Date: September 25, 2024
Exam Start Time: 10:30 AM
Candidates must be present at the exam venue at least 30 minutes before the exam for identity verification and seating arrangements. Students without an ID document will not be admitted to the exam. Candidates should learn their student numbers before the exam to correctly code the student number section on the optical form. Candidates should bring necessary exam materials such as pencils and erasers. Exam results will be available on the Yalova University Student Information System (UBS).
