Yalova University School of Foreign Languages has become an ETS® approved TOEFL iBT® exam center as of April 2022. The exam center located in the central campus has a total capacity of 40 test-takers and works with a capacity of 15 test-takers due to the pandemic conditions.

Important Information About TOEFL iBT®

Only the results obtained from TOEFL iBT® exam centers in universities are accepted by OSYM(The Center for Assessment, Selection and Placement) and YOK(Council of Higher Education).

The TOEFL score, which is valid for exemption in Foreign Language Preparatory Schools, must also be obtained from exam centers in universities.

Results from private institutions or examination centers are not considered academically valid.

 

Test-takers who will take the TOEFL iBT® exam at our center should have:

A valid ID card to take the exam (For Turkish Citizens: TR ID Card/A Valid Passport/Driver’s License & For Foreigners: A Valid Passport)

Appointment Number sent to test-takers by ETS via e-mail (can be printed on ETS portal)

 

 

 

Also Test-takers:

can bring their personal belongings (such as transportation card, purse, wallet, mobile phone other than ID) to the exam center. These items will be left in the safe area that will be allocated to them before the exam.

There are vending machines where food, water, etc. needs can be provided during the break that will be given after the Reading/Listening section.

 

Transportation to the Exam Center:

There is a single vehicle access to the School of Foreign Languages located on the central campus, from the city center or from IDO, by pink minibuses with "CAMPUS" in front of them.
