Stepping into a Healthy Future with the "Smoke-Free Break, Cigarette Butt-Free Campus" Event
The "Smoke-Free Break, Cigarette Butt-Free Campus" event, organized by the Social Contribution Coordinatorship of Yalova University School of Foreign Languages, garnered great interest both for raising awareness and keeping the campus clean. The event was successfully completed with the participation of our students and faculty members, along with the support of Yalova Green Crescent officials and Yalova Young Green Crescent Club.
As part of the event, participants were provided with training aimed at raising awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco addiction. Students took pride in taking steps not only to protect their health but also to foster a consciousness of a clean environment. The subsequent cigarette butt collection activity served as the most concrete demonstration of environmental awareness.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to and participated in this meaningful event, and we pledge to continue working together for a smoke-free and cigarette butt-free campus.
