On May 14, 2025, Yalova University successfully hosted the 6th Recycling and Sustainability Days, bringing together academics, students, and industry representatives. Organized in line with the university’s sustainability vision, the event featured presentations and panels focusing on eco-friendly practices, recycling technologies, and sustainable living strategies.
Students from the School of Foreign Languages actively participated in the event. They attentively followed the presentations by experts in the field and had the opportunity to explore student-led projects on sustainability, gaining valuable insights into environmental awareness. The students expressed their satisfaction and enthusiasm for being part of such an impactful event.
The program concluded with a prize draw, during which various gifts were awarded to participants. Events like this continue to play a vital role in raising environmentally responsible individuals and are expected to remain a key part of the university’s annual activities.
