On Thursday, May 8, 2025, a professional development session was held at Yalova University School of Foreign Languages to introduce and explore the features of the Empower English coursebook series (Cambridge University Press & Assessment).
The session was attended by academic staff members from the School of Foreign Languages and featured insightful presentations by Alihan Yaycı and Muhammet Ali Özcan, representatives of UES (Unlimited Educational Services).
During the session, the presenters provided a comprehensive overview of the Empower series, including its approach to integrated skills development, online support tools, and alignment with CEFR levels. The discussion also focused on how the series can effectively support student learning outcomes and enhance classroom instruction.
This event aimed to inform instructors about updated teaching materials and contribute to ongoing efforts to improve curriculum implementation and instructional quality at our school.
